PQ Launches to Revitalize Communities Through Mindful Art and Play
Long Beach, CA — April 4, 2025 — PQ, a new community-centered initiative, is launching with a mission to bring people together through art, design, and tactile, joyful experiences. Built on the belief that everyday creativity can change lives, PQ kicks off with upcoming Paint & Sip and Game & Sip events hosted at local cafes, boba shops, and community venues throughout Long Beach and Los Angeles.
Using PQ’s custom-designed 3D-printed paintables and games, these gatherings create a space for reflection, social connection, and healing—serving as a fresh alternative to passive, screen-based entertainment.
“We believe in practical ideas for a better quality of life,” said Christopher Johnson, founder of PQ. “Whether it’s painting a custom cube or playing a tabletop game with friends, these moments help people reconnect—with each other and with themselves.”
At the heart of PQ is the Marshmallow Test principle—a nod to long-term thinking and patience. Rather than instant gratification, PQ encourages intentional creativity, helping people develop focus, emotional intelligence, and community engagement through fun, tangible activities.
Designed for Purpose, Built for Impact
PQ’s events feature items like litho boxes, decor pieces, and game components—all produced from biodegradable or recycled 3D printing materials. The products aren’t just tools—they’re conversation starters, art pieces, and expressions of community.
By working with local venues to provide the “sip” portion—such as teas, coffees, or boba—PQ ensures these events remain rooted in the neighborhoods they serve, offering small businesses a way to connect with customers in a meaningful way.
What’s Next?
As the Paint & Sip and Game & Sip formats roll out, PQ plans to scale through starter kits, university collaborations, and eventually, franchisable event models—creating pathways for others to lead similar initiatives in their own communities, from the U.S. to the Philippines and beyond.
“We’re not just here to host events,” said [Your Name]. “We’re here to build systems of healing, learning, and beauty—starting with a paintbrush or a game piece.”
